We're excited for our 2nd Annual Canes Campout in the Storm Dome on January 26th!
Should be a great event for the entire family, and best of all, it's
FREE. Here's how it's going down...
- We'll start the afternoon with some GSW basketball. The women play at 3:30 p.m. and the men follow at 5:30 p.m. Youth campers can come down to the floor for starting lineups and campers will be involved in contests throughout the action.
- After the men's game we'll head down to the GSW Lakehouse for a campfire and roast marshmallows while the arena floor is covered in preparation for our return.
- A trip back to the Storm Dome will provide participants with the opportunity to setup camp.
- The concessions stand will be open for a period of time.
- Once settled, we'll cut the lights and enjoy a movie on the big screen.
- When the movie is over, it'll be time to call it a day and retire to our quarters.
- In the morning, campers can eat breakfast with members of the Hurricanes basketball team to close out the event.
Space is limited, so reserve your "campsite" today!
Remember, you must bring your own tent (not required, sleeping "under the stars" is OK), camping supplies (sleeping bags, air mattress, pillows), and any additional snacks. A minimum of one adult is required for each tent/campsite.
