AMERICUS, Ga. -- Chris Fenn was inducted into the Georgia Southwestern State University Athletics Hall of Fame at the University's annual Outstanding Alumni Awards Dinner in the Thomas O. Marshall, Jr. Pavilion of the Marshall Student Center on Feb. 22.
A 1978 history graduate and an Americus native, Fenn is known as the "Photographer of the Hurricanes." Since 2002, he has covered hundreds of athletic events and spent countless hours promoting the University and the Hurricanes through his photography. Fenn has always volunteered his time to shoot, edit and compile photos from GSW home games as well as additional Athletics events, including team photo sessions with individual athlete head shots.
When he's not volunteering his time and talent as the official photographer for the GSW Department of Athletics, Fenn can be found keeping track of all the keys on campus as a locksmith with GSW's Physical Plant.
Fenn was inducted into the GSW Athletics Hall of Fame as a Contributor for his contributions to the Hurricanes over the years.
