West Alabama Completes Sweep

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The Georgia Southwestern baseball team scored a run in the first inning, but was held scoreless the rest of the way as the University of West Alabama handed the Hurricanes a 6-1 loss on Sunday afternoon to complete a three-game weekend series sweep.

The Hurricanes fell to 2-4 this spring while West Alabama improved its record to 6-1.

Stephen Eldridge put GSW ahead early when he drove in Les Cromer with an RBI single to left center in the Hurricanes first at bat.
