'Canes finish seventh at Panther Invite

The Georgia Southwestern golf team finished seventh in the nine-team Panther Invite hosted by Florida Tech that wrapped up Tuesday in Palm Bay, Fla.

Adam McKenney finished the 54-hole tournament tied for 13th place with an 18-over-par 234 total to lead the 'Canes. Reese Moseley was ten strokes off of McKenney's pace with a 28-over-par 244 total.  Jordan Britt (248) and Tyler Williams (262) completed the Hurricanes scoring.

Brevard Community College picked up ten strokes on No. 13-ranked Barry on Tuesday's final round, but it wasn't enough as BU finished one stroke ahead of BCC to claim the team title.

Mathieu Gingras from Laval won individual medalist honors with a two-day total of 223 (74-72-77).

Southwestern returns to action on March 9-10 at the North South Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.
