McKenney Wins Coker Invite Individual Title
Senior Adam McKenney shot a second round 3-under-par 69 Tuesday afternoon at the Orlando County National Golf Center to win individual medalist honors at the Coker College Invitational. McKenney finished the 36-hole tournament with an 8-under 136, two strokes ahead of Judson Eustaquio from Florida Southern.
The Georgia Southwestern team shot a 9-over-par 297 in the second round to finish plus-9 for the tournament (585), seventh place overall. Third-ranked Florida Southern won the 12-team field with an 8-under 568. Peach Belt Conference members Lander (569) and No. 24 Armstrong Atlantic (586) finished second and eighth, respectfully.
Individually for GSW, Michael Harris (72-74=146) finished tied for 16th place among the 60 golfers. Jordan Britt (75-74=149) tied for 38th; Chris Hall (74-80=154) finshed 56th; and Tyler Williams (78-82=160) finished 59th.
