KISSIMMEE, Fla.- Senior Ethan Chamineak moved up 18 spots on Tuesday to help the Georgia Southwestern men's golf team place 16th at the NCAA Division II National Championship Preview. 

GSW fired a tournament low 291 in Round 3 on the 72-par, 7154-yard course at the Reunion Resort-Watson Course to finish 16th of 18 teams. Of the 18 teams in the field, 12 were ranked inside the Top-25 of the DII Bushnell GolfWeek Coaches' Poll.

No. 4 Lynn led the tournament from Day 1 and won with a three-round, 19-under 845. No. 2 Florida Southern finished second with a 15-under 849 and No. 1  West Florida placed third with a nine-under 855.

Chamineak fired a tournament-low one-under 71 in Round 3 to finish tied for 39th of 96 golfers with a three-round 219.

Nicholas Ward posted a 73 in Round 3 to finish one stroke behind Chamineak and finish tied for 41st.

Fraser Johnston posted a tournament-low 74 in Round 3 to finish tied for 69th.

Nix Duncan moved up six spots after shooting a tournament-low 73 in the final round and finished 79th.

Alex Wells also posed a tournament-low 74 in Round 3 to move up five spots and finish one stroke behind teammate Duncan.

The Hurricanes are back in action Monday, Oct. 31, for the McDonough Cup hosted by Rollins College at the Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla.
