VALDOSTA, Ga.- Ethan Chamineak finished fourth of 93 golfers to lead the Georgia Southwestern men's golf team to a 10th place finish at the Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta State on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes competed against 18 teams, 14 of which have been ranked in the Top-25 of the most recent Bushnell Golfweek NCAA Division II Coaches Poll. GSW finished tied with No. 8 Rollins College both posting three-round scores of 907 and finished second of the six Peach Belt Conference schools competing.

No. 1 West Florida led the tournament all three rounds and won with a three-round 869. No. 5 Barry placed second with a 883 and No. 2 Lynn posted a 884 to finish third.

Chamineak fired a 73 in Round 3 to finish with a three-round 218. Vincent Norrman finished tied for 44th with a 229, Nix Duncan placed tied for 55th with a 231, Nicholas Ward finished one stroke behind Duncan with a 232 and finished tied for 62nd and Tyler Barker posted a 241 to finish 89th.

The Hurricanes are back on the links Monday and Tuesday for the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Georgia College at the Cuscowilla Golf Club in Eatonton, Ga.
