EATONTON, Ga. -- The GSW men's golf team currently sits in 13th place after Rounds 1 & 2 Monday at the 15-team Bobcat Invitational played at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee. 

The Hurricanes are facing a stacked field for the second consective week with 11 nationally ranked opponents, including the top six in the Golfstat NCAA DII rankings in the tournament.   

GSW shot 292 in the morning round, followed by a 299 in the afternoon to total 591 after two completed rounds on the 6,730 yard Par 70 course. No. 14 USC Aiken is in first place at 557, followed by No. 10 Barry (561), No. 2 Florida Southern (564) is in third, while No. 1 West Florida (570) sits in fourth. No. 4 Nova Southeastern and No. 6 Lynn round out the top five tied at 572.

Ryan Cahill shot a 1-over par 141 (70, 71) to lead the Hurricanes and is tied for 12th on the individual leaderboard. Vincent Norrman is tied for 23rd after turning in a 4-over par 144 (70, 74). Tyler Barker shot 153 (77, 76), Nix Duncan tallied 154 (76, 78), while Wil Hernandez rounded out the GSW scoring at 156 (76, 80).  

Florida Southern's John VanDerLaan leads the tournament after shooting a 7-under par 133 (67, 66). USC Aiken's Johnson Holliday is in second place at 4-under par 136 (66, 70) and teammate Axel Ostensson is in third after a 3-under 137 (72, 65).  

Up Next: The Bobcat Invitational concludes tommorrow with the third and final round set to begin at 8 a.m.
