AMERICUS, Ga. - Three first half goals was all the North Georgia Saints needed to blank the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes Saturday afternoon at Hurricane Field, 3-0.

NGCSU used a quick start to gain early momentum as North Georgia's Jamie Gleeson took a pass from Juan Hurtado and headed in a goal for the Saints a little under three minutes into the match.

At the 14:07 mark, North Georgia scored their second goal of the day when Juan Hurtado took a rebounded ball and found the back of the net.

The Saints completed the first half trifecta when Gustavo Cunha scored his third goal of the season on an unassisted goal in the 33rd minute of the first half to put North Georgia up 3-0 heading into halftime.

That proved to be the final score as both teams couldn't find any more offense in the second half.
