MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Auburn University at Montgomery scored three goals in a span of six minutes midway through the first half and went on to defeat the Georgia Southwestern State University men's soccer team, 4-1, in a non-conference matchup Wednesday evening at the AUM Soccer Complex.

The Warhawks picked up their second straight win to improve to 2-3 this fall while GSW suffered its third consecutive defeat and fell to 1-3.

Phillip Spickehbaum struck first for the Warhawks at the 19:00 mark and Thomas Carlile provided the game-winning score 38 seconds later. Carlile picked up his second goal of the night, and his second of the season in the 26th minute before Divin Moke could get the Hurricanes on the board. Moke found the back of the net (27') off a pass from Sean Mckeevar for his second goal of the fall, the eighth of his career.

GSW trailed 3-1 at the half. The final score came in the 70th minute off the foot of Alexis Arriaga. 

Auburn Montgomery tallied six shots on goal while the Hurricanes were held to four. Corner kicks were hard to come by as the Warhawks finished with a 3-1 advantage. The Hurricanes entered the match ranked seventh in NCAA DIvision II in yellow cards (12), but did not draw a card on Wednesday.

GSW's Kellan O'Hara led all players with three shots on goal. Keeper Oneil Lewis saved one shot for the Hurricanes.
