AMERICUS, Ga. -- The nationally-ranked Young Harris College offense broke through for three second half goals to pull away from the Georgia Southwestern State University men's soccer team Saturday evening at Hurricane Field. GSW lost the Peach Belt Conference match, 4-0.

Young Harris entered the contest ranked second in NCAA Division II in shots per game (18.56) and shots on goal per game (9.00). 

The Mountain Lions evened their conference record at 1-1 and improved to 7-3 overall, while GSW lost its second consecutive match to drop to 3-6 overall, 0-2 in the PBC.

Young Harris opened the scoring with a tap in off a deflection off the post in the 20th minute. 

GSW trailed 1-0 at the half, but fell behind by two scores less than three minutes into the second half when Seba Andreassen converted a penalty kick. Andreassen struck again in the 70th minute and Sondre Olsen moved into a tie for the PBC lead when he notched his seventh goal of the season in the 88th minute.

Young Harris finished with a substantial edge in shots (31-3) and corner kicks (6-2). GSW was whistled for 14 fouls while Young Harris committed nine.

Divin Moke led GSW with two shots. Keeper Matthew Sherry saved three.
