Softball Success Season Recap

AMERICUS, Ga -- The Georgia Southwestern softball team ended their season with an amazing run in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, where they went 2-1, finishing Runner-Up. This was the first time in NCAA Division II era that GSW played in the PBC Championship game. GSW also advanced to the semifinals and won for the first time in NCAA Division II era, since joining in 2006. 

Under second-year head coach Nicki Levering, the 2019 softball team went 29-26 (10-10 PBC) where the 29 wins was tied for the most in this era and their 10 conference wins were marked the most wins in program history.  

Several Lady Canes has left their mark this season inGSW books as they made a huge impact 

 

 

 Since jumping up to NCAA Division II and joining the Peach Belt Conference in 2006, The Georgia Southwestern softball team has been making strides to be competitive both on and off the playing surfaces and that they did.
