No. 15 Columbus State Runs Past Lady Canes

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University women's soccer team fell 11-0 to No. 15 Columbus State in a Peach Belt Conference match at Hurricane Field in front of 143 Saturday.

The Cougars (8-1-0, 5-1-0 PBC) first got on the board in the 11th minute with a Kimmy May goal from Olivia Jarrell and added five more goals to take a 6-0 lead into the halftime break. Riley Clark led the Cougars with a hat trick, while May and Flo Spano recorded two goals each.

GSW goalkeeper Sammie Conley made 11 saves, giving her 79 on the season.  

The loss drops the Lady Canes to 0-9-0 on the season and 0-5-0 in Peach Belt play.
