AMERICUS, Ga. -- Sophomore forward Eduarda Giusti scored two back-to-back first-half goals as the Georgia Southwestern women's soccer team demolished Talladega College, 5-0, Wednesday evening on Hurricane Field.

Giusti's goals came within seven minutes of eachother, as GSW was already leading 3-0 right before the half. In the 36th minute, Giusti received a pass from Payton Johnson and dribbled through for her first goal of the night. Seven minutes later (43'), a blocked shot by the Tornadoes goalkeeper led to a clear sight for Giusti as she easily captured her second goal to go into halftime up 5-0.

Thirty-four seconds into the game, Leila Hamed put the first goal on the board for the Lady Hurricanes as she dribbled up and tapped one right out of reach of the goalkeepers hands for a quick score. Johnson put GSW up 2-0 in the 24th minute when a breakaway pass from Geraldine Alvarez ended up in front of her as she shot cross her body for the score. Two minutes later, Laura Durán Blanco put GSW up by three as a corner kick by Alison Rugel landed gently in front of her for an easy score.
