Year: 4th Season

Snow returns to GSW for her fourth season as the Women’s Soccer Coach. She brings in twelve new players for the 2015 season, six of whom are transfers. The women’s soccer program grew under Snow’s leadership since 2012 as the Lady 'Canes posted their first ever win against The University of West Georgia. The Lady 'Canes also tied Division I Program, Alabama State University 2-2, and made significant improvements on and off the field.

The Women’s Soccer coat drive campaign, Coat for a Coke, was recognized by the Peach Belt Conference this summer as GSW brought home the PBC/SunTrust Connecting Communities Award.  Snow also had ten players from the 2014-15 season recognized on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll.

Prior to arriving at GSW, Snow was the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Bluefield College.  During her two-year tenure at Bluefield College, Snow helped the Lady Rams to several program firsts. These included Bluefield's first-ever wins over Emory and Henry and North Carolina Wesleyan. Her teams at BC were active in the community as well. One of their many campaigns was the creation and implementation of the "Kickeroos" youth soccer program for children in the western Virginia area.

Before taking over at Bluefield College,  Snow was the interim Head Women's Soccer Coach at Oxford College of Emory University in Oxford, Ga., where she also worked as Assistant Coach prior to her head coach promotion.

During the Fall 2009 season, Snow led the Lady Eagles to a 7-7-1 season and to their second consecutive appearance in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III National Tournament, including Region Champions.  As the first assistant coach in 2008, Snow worked with the goalkeepers and defense and helped the team finish with a 14-5 record, and a fifth place ranking by the National Soccer Association of America and sixth place ranking by the NJCAA. They were also region champions and made an appearance in the Elite 8 of the NJCAA National Tournament.

Snow has also spent over seven years coaching in Olympic Development Programs in Colorado, West Virginia and Georgia and has been a coach with U.S. Soccer Region I since 2011.  She is a recipient of the Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund Scholarship and the Chris Nedelcoyych Soccer Foundation Scholarship for soccer education. Snow obtained her USSF A License in 2009, becoming one of the youngest females to receive that honor.  Last summer, Snow was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America ’30 Under 30’ program, recognizing the top thirty coaches in the country under thirty years of age.

She is no stranger to the Peach Belt Conference. Snow (formerly Samantha Bird) is a former member of the Columbus State women's soccer program where she played under current head coach Jay Entlich. CSU won the Peach Belt Conference in Snow's final season of competition in 2005 before injuries ended her playing career prematurely. She spent the next two seasons as a student assistant coach with Columbus State, which saw the Lady Cougars earn back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths and reach as far as the Elite Eight.

Snow adds to her licenses after obtaining her USSF National Goalkeeping License in the Spring of 2014 and her NSCAA Premier Diploma last fall.

Snow holds her Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at GSW.  Snow and her husband, Elliot, have a daughter, Reagan, who turned two in July.
