EATONTON, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern golf team stayed in their slump as they finished the Bearcat Invitational in 13th place. GSW carded a 308 in round three to finish the tournament 53-over-par 893 in the par-70, 6,730 yard Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee course.

Of the 15 teams, GSW was one of the 13 nationally-ranked teams competing.

Vincent Norrman's rough final round led him to dropping 13 spots, as he finished tied for 17th place with a seven-over-par 217 card, shooting a 78 in the final round. Ryan Cahill shot a 73 for a final 11-over-par 221 card as he finished tied for 28th place. Tyler Barker shot a 78, Elias Birkeland shot a 79 in round three and Cole Madison ended the day with an 83 card. Barker, who tied for 59th place, finished with a 20-over-par 230 followed by Birkeland, who finished with a total score of 22-over-par 232 for 68th place. Madison ended the Bobcat Invitational tied for 72nd place with a total score of 24-over-par 234. 

Rollins College Morgan Egloff took home individuals winner shooting a 68 in the final round for a 208 (-2) final card. Barry's Jorge Garcia and Giovanni Manzoni from Lynn finished tied for second place with a 210 card. Carlos Marrero of West Florida carded a 211 (+1) while Thomas Millet of Nova Southeastern carded a 212 (+2) to round the top five players. 

No. 2 Lynn carded a 297 in the final round for a 854 (+14) total card as they finished in first place. No. 9 Florida Southern carded a 863 (+23) followed by No. 1 Barry, who finished with a 864 (+24). No. 22 Rollins College 870 (+30) and No. 3 West Florida 872 (+32) rounded out the top five teams at the Bobcat Invitational. 

GSW returns to the green March 25-26 where they will compete in the Bearcat Classic. Hosted by Lander University, all three rounds will be played at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood S.C.
