INNISBROOK, Fla. -- The Georgia Southwestern golf team carded a 289 (+5) in Round 3 Tuesday afternoon, moving up the leaderboard as they finished in fourth place to end the Copperhead Championship played at Innisbrook Resort - Copperhead Course. GSW finished with a total score of 866 (+14) at the par-71, 7,209 yard course.  

The Hurricanes had three top 25 finishers in Vincent Norrman, Simon Estrada and Saksit Jairak. Norrman carded a Round 3 score of 74 as he finished tied in seventh place with a final card of 214 (+1). Estrada (+3) carded a 72 followed by Jairak (+4), who carded a 73 as they both finished the day tied for 18th and 22nd place, respectively. Chase McLain shot a 70 to finish tied for 40th place while Elias Birkeland shot a 79 to finished tied for 66th place. Cole Madison played as an individual as he finished tied for 46th place with a final card of 223 (+10).

No. 4 Barry stayed atop the leaderboards, taking home first place with a total score of 850 (-2). No. 24 Columbus State (857) and No. 14 Lincoln Memorial (863) finished second and third place. Hosts No. 3 West Florida closed out the top 5 as they finished with a total score of 869. 

Taisuke Ono of Queen's Univ. of Charlotte carded a tournament round low of 63, taking home first place in individuals with a total score of 203 (-10). Dan Bradbury of Lincoln Memorial and Tyler Bakich of Barry finished tied for second place with a 212 (-1) card. Columbus State's Jordan Doull, Charles Joubert of Wingate and Luke Haries of Lincoln Memorial all finished tied for fourth place, rounding out the the top individuals with an even par 213 card. 

The Hurricanes will return to the green Oct. 21-22 when they compete in the Queens University Fall Invitational.
