KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- No. 3 Georgia Southwestern golf team carded rounds of 279 and 281 as they sit in third place to end Day One of the Queens Invitational. Hosted at The Club at Irish Creek, GSW has a total score of 560 (-8) at the Par-71, 7,024 yard course. 

Vincent Norrman leads the Hurricanes as he sits in third place with rounds of 68 and 67 for a 7-under 135 card. Chase McLain sits tied for 10th place with opening rounds of 68 and 72 for a 2-under 140 card followed by Saksit Jairak, who is tied in 16th place after shooting rounds of 71 and 70 for a 1-under 141 card. Cole Madison carded two rounds of 72 while Simon Estrada carded two rounds of 73, finishing tied for 33rd and 46th, respectively out of 104 golfers. 

In individuals, USC Aiken's Leo Johansson and Leonardo Bono finished tied for first place, shooting 8-under 134. Dan Bradbury of Lincoln Memorial, Tanner Merck of North Georgia and Barton's Nikolaj Dahl and Bryson Boyette are all tied for fourth place, shooting 5-under 137. Aiken's Bono shot the tournament low with a Round 1 65 card. 

No. 5 USC Aiken is leading the pack, shooting a 16-under 552 as they stand in first place. No. 16 Lincoln Memorial sits in second place as they carded a 9-under 559. Limestone (569) and Newberry (570) are the top five teams to end day one. 

The Hurricanes will tee off for Round 3 of the Queens Invitational at 8:30 a.m.
