Valdosta, Ga. -- The 23-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team posted rounds of 288 and 285 as they sit tied in second place to end Day One of the Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta St. GSW sits just two strokes out of first place with a three-under 573 card. 

Saksit Jairak leads the Hurricanes, shooting four-under 140 (69,71) as he sits in fifth place at the Par 71, 7,365 yard course played at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. Simon Estrada sits tied in 15th after scoring an even par today with rounds of 77 and 67. Chase McLain and Jack Tharrington sits one par out tied in the 23rd spot with a one-over 145 card followed by Jaxson Daskalos, who sits tied in 55th with a nine-over 153 total card. 

Barry's A.J. Ewart, who shot a round low 63, Lee's Beck Burnette and Austin Mancilla from Georgia College all sit tied in first place with a six-under 138 card. Ronan Kleu from Columbus State holds the fourth spot with a five-under 139 card followed by Jairak.  

No. 1 West Florida leads the top ranked Southeastern Collegiate with a five-under 571 total score. No. 5 Lincoln Memorial and No. 12 Barry are both tied with No. 23 GSW in second place with a three-under 573 card. No. 13 Lee sits in fifth place with a two-under 574 total card to round out the top five teams competing. 

Round 3 will tee of at 9:15 a.m. for the Hurricanes.
