AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern men's golf player Saksit Jairak has been named Men's co-Golfer of the Week by the Peach Belt Conference, announced Thursday. 

The junior from Nakhonsawan, Thailand, shot rounds of 69-71-70, finishing just one stroke out of the lead. He was one of two golfers in the field to shoot under par in all three rounds and now has shot par or better in eight of his 15 rounds this season. His efforts helped the Hurricanes to a win in the deep 15-team field as the team shot five-under 859. Jairak is currently eighth in the PBC with a 71.67 stroke average. 

Jairak shares the award with Georgia College's Austin Mancilla, who also shot a six-under 210 and finished tied for second place at the Southeastern Collegiate.
