PENSACOLA, Fla. -- No. 13 Georgia Southwestern men's golf team sits in eighth place after Day One of the Argonaut Invitational played at the Pensacola Country Club. The Hurricanes carded rounds of 283 and 301 for an eight-over 584 total score at the par 72, 6,815 yard course. 

Jaxson Daskalos had the sole Eagle for GSW during Round 1. 

GSW is led by Chase McLain, who is tied in fourth place after the first two rounds. McLain carded rounds of 69 and 70 for a five-under 139 card. Saksit Jairak sits tied in 31st place with rounds of 72 and 75, shooting three-over 147. Simon Estrada shot rounds of 72 and 76, finishing tied in 38th place with a four-over 148 card as Jaxson Daskalos sits tied in 50th place after shooting rounds of 70 and 80 for a six-over 150 score. Jack Tharrington sits tied in 62nd place after shooting rounds of 72 and 80 for an eight-over 152 score. 

Lincoln Memorial's Dan Bradbury holds the first place spot after day one with a nine-under 135 followed by Jake DeZoort and Felipe Garces Garzon of West Florida, who had an eight-under 136 and seven-under 137 for second and third place. McLain is tied with Arran Kanth of Columbus State and Harry Lord of Lincoln Memorial for a five-under 139 card. 

No. 4 Lincoln Memorial sits atop the teams with a 10-under 566 score followed by No. 1 West Florida, who sits just two strokes out with an eight-under 568 card. No. 8 Arkansas Tech is in third place shooting an one-over 577, No. 11 Lee shots a two-over 578 while No. 19 Henderson State shot a three-over 579 to round out the top five teams. 

The Hurricanes will tee off for Round 3 at 8 a.m.
