AMERICUS, Ga. -- First-year head coach Eric Crawford and the Georgia Southwestern State men's soccer team has finalized their 2019 schedule with 15 games, eight of them which to be played on Hurricane Field. GSW will play six of their eight home games under the lights.
The Hurricanes will open their schedule at home against Brewton-Parker on Sept 5, which will be followed by a fireworks show. On Sept. 10, they will travel up to Cochran, Ga. to play Middle Georgia State before returning home to host Faulkner University on Sept. 14. GSW hits the road for a pair of away games to play Auburn Montgomery on Sept. 18 and Shorter University on Sept. 21 before hosting Talladega College on Sept. 25 for their final home game of September.
GSW will begin their October slate on the road against Southern Wesleyan Oct. 2 before returning back home to host their first Peach Belt Conference game on Oct. 5 against Clayton State. The Hurricanes will host PBC Champs Young Harris and Pensacola Christian Oct. 12 and 17 before heading north to play USC Aiken on Oct. 19. Francis Marion comes to town on Oct. 26 to close out the October slate.
The Hurricanes will begin November on the road to take on Lander University Nov 2. GSW welcomes Flagler College to town for their final home game on Nov. 6 before heading out for their final game of the regular season on Nov. 9 against North Georgia.
