Division I Georgia State holds serve vs. GSW men

ATLANTA - The Georgia Southwestern men's tennis team fell to Division I Georgia State University, 7-0, at Piedmont Park on Wednesday afternoon. 

GSW's record drops to 3-5 overall, while Georgia State won its seventh-straight match and improves to 12-3.

The Hurricanes fell behind 1-0 after doubles action and were swept in singles matches with the Panthers. 

Southwestern's Ignacio Donnet played the closest singles match at No. 6, losing to Lucas Santana 6-1, 6-3. 

GSW opens Peach Belt Conference play on Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. match at Flagler.
