AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball team lost the rubber match to Augusta University Sunday afternoon. The Hurricanes took the lead in the top of the first inning on a Paul Hegeman 3-run Homerun. Hegeman finished the game one for three with a walk.
Miles Hartsfield had two hits in the game and was the only Hurricane to record multiple hits.
The Hurricanes had a rough day pitching giving up 19 hits and 12 earned runs in eight innings pitched.
GSW falls to 7-3 and 4-2 in PBC conference play.
The Hurricanes will be back home for a mid week contest to take on Valdosta State at Hurricane Stadium 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
