GSW Baseball Ranked for First Time in NCAA Era

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University baseball team is ranked 19th in the latest Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division II Poll. This is the first time in school history the Hurricanes have been in the NCAA polls.

GSW won the Peach Belt Conference regular season championship and the conference tournament this spring, accomplishing both for the first time in program history. Their 34 wins are also a school-best since joining the NCAA. 

The Hurricanes travel to Tigerville, S.C for the opening game of the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
