For the fourth time this year, the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes are ranked in the NABC Division II Top 25 Coaches poll. Their 17th ranking in the most recent poll marks the third time the Blue & Gold have been ranked since the season began. GSW was also ranked 21st in the NABC's Preseason poll. Georgia Southwestern was the only Peach Belt Conference team to be ranked in the Top 25 with Montevallo and USC Aiken both receiving votes.

This marks the third straight week the Canes have been ranked during the 2011-12 season. Coach Leeder and company were ranked for five weeks during all of last season. Going back to this year's preseason poll, GSW has been ranked in the top 25 since November 1st, 2011.

The men's basketball crew will look to defend their top 25 ranking tomorrow night when they travel to Clayton State University. Wednesday night's tip-off against the Lakers is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
