KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Georgia Southwestern men's basketball team moved up three spots to No. 21 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches/NCAA Division II poll released Tuesday afternoon.
GSW and No. 4 Florida Southern are the only D-II schools off to a 9-0 start.
The Hurricanes have earned a spot in the national poll in three of the last four seasons while being ranked for a total of 10 weeks.
GSW is one of three Peach Belt Conference members currently ranked in the Top 25. Joining Southwestern are No. 10 Montevallo and No. 22 UNC Pembroke.
The Hurricanes are back in action on Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. contest at Clayton State.
