GSW Ranked For Fourth Straight Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Georgia Southwestern men's basketball team slipped six spots to No. 24 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches/NCAA Division II poll released Tuesday afternoon. 

The Hurricanes are ranked for the fourth straight week. GSW entered the poll at No. 24 on Dec. 3 before moving up three spots in each of the previous two polls.

The Hurricanes are one of two Peach Belt Conference members currently ranked in the Top 25. Joining Southwestern is No. 17 Montevallo.

Southwestern has earned a ranking in the national poll in three of the last four seasons while being ranked for a total of 12 weeks.

The Hurricanes are back in action on Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. contest at Young Harris.
