Thoseby Receives All-Conference Honors

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern graduate forward Adam Thoseby was named to the Peach Belt Conference 2015-16 men's basketball All-Conference team tonight at the league's tournament banquet.

Thoseby, a third team selection, led the Hurricanes in scoring average (15.3) and blocked shots (14) while ranking second on the squad in assists (78). The Melbourne, Australia, native scored 20 or more points on seven occasions this season, including 34 at Columbus State on Jan. 7, and 31 against Francis Marion on Feb. 13. He was named the PBC's men's basketball Player of the Week on Feb. 15.

Thoseby ranked in the Top 15 of the conference in several categories, including: 3-point field goal percentage in league play (3rd), field goals made in league play (13th), points in league play (12th) and overall free throw percentage (10th).

The Hurricanes have had a player named all-conference eight of the last nine seasons.

The 2015-16 PBC All-Conference team is listed below as selected by the league's head coaches.  Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
