Georgia Southwestern Falls Just Short Against #17 Flagler

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern Men's basketball team was defeated 72-69 by 17th ranked Flagler College in their second meeting this season. Both meetings ended in three point losses for the Hurricanes. Flagler extended its winning streak to nine games and improved to 19-3 overall and 12-1 in the Peach Belt. Georgia Southwestern fell to 9-12 overall and 5-8 in conference play. Flagler ran out to a 13-2 lead, but wound up trailing Georgia Southwestern at the half, 39-37. Outside of the early stages of the game, the score remained close. In the second half there were eight ties and seven lead changes. Jarrett Adderton led the Hurricanes with a game high 28 points. Dontevius Tatum added 16 points and seven rebounds coming off the bench. Jaizec Lottie led the Saints with 23 points after being held to just six in the first half.
