Georgia Southwestern started off the season hot with a #2 ranking in Golfstat's head-to-head rankings but are currently sitting at 16th.  As the Cane's head to Columbus for the Conference Tournament they are led by Senior Craig Gibson who won the AFLAC invite and has seven top 10's in his 10 tournaments played this spring.   GSW is also led by the Junior, J.P. Griffin who won the Frito Lay/Taco Bell event and was named a PBC Player of the Week.  The Hurricanes have never finished better than 7th in their three PBC Tournaments appearances but hope to turn that around this year after winning three events this season with two-more second place finishes.  

Gibson is 5th in average scoring leading the Hurricanes through 25 rounds with a 72.7 .  The Canes themselves are 6th in scoring within the Peach Belt.  GSW has two low rounds of the year, one of which coming at The Bobcat Intercollegiate Tournament and one at The Aflac Couger Invitational.
