GSW Golf 3rd After Round 1 In PBC Championships

GREENWOOD, S.C. - The Georgia Southwestern men's golf team sits in third out of 12 teams with an overall score of 292 after Round one of the Peach Belt Conference Championships at the par-72, 6,851-yard Greenwood Country Club.

Hayes Dupree leads GSW shooting one-under par with a score of 71 after one round. Dupree shot two birdies and one bogey to tie for eighth going into Round 2.

Chris Low started off the tournament with an eagle on hole one and finished Round one with three bogeys to score a one-over par of 73 and sit tied for 19th.

Fraser Johnston and Nicholas Ward both got birdies on hole one and scored a 74. They both shot two more birdies and five bogeys to sit tied for 25th.

Anders Olsson had one birdie and two bogeys to shoot a 75 and tie for 36th going into Round two.

The Hurricanes will tee off tomorrow on hole one starting at 10 a.m. Olsson will tee off first followed by Johnston at 10:08, Ward at 10:16, Low at 10:24 and Dupree at 10:36.
