AMERICUS - Coming in at No. 7 for the 2014-15 Top 10 Moments in Georgia Southwestern sports is the Chris Low and the GSW Golf team at the North Georgia Fall Invitational.

Low advanced to a playoff for the individual title and teammate Nicholas Ward finished third out of 73 participants to lead the Hurricanes to a second-place finish.

Low finished in a two-way tie for the lead with Nicklaus Kennedy from Carson-Newman College after the final round. The pair matched scores on three playoff holes in sudden death before Kennedy edged out Low for the individual medalist honors.

Low fired a 54-hole total of 7-under 209 which tied the GSW program record.

The Hurricanes as a team made up six shots on the leaders from Day 1, Lander University, but it was not quite enough to catch the Bearcats who edged out GSW by three strokes for the team title.

The 862 score by GSW ranks second-lowest in program history.
