VALDOSTA, Ga.- No. 14 Georgia Southwestern golf posted a two-round score of 596 on the 72-par, 7313 yard course to sit tied for 12th of 18 teams at the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta State at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

The 18-team field consists of 10 Top-25 NCAA Division II teams including five from the Top-10. No. 3 West Florida leads with a three-under par, two-round score 573. No. 5 Florida Southern posted a one-under par 575 to sit in second and No. 8 Lynn is in third with a two-round 580.

Defending NCAA DII National Champions Nova Southeastern (No. 4) sits in seventh with a 588.

GSW is one of six Peach Belt Conference schools competing. Armstrong sits in eighth, Columbus State is tied for ninth, Lander 11th, Flagler tied for 16th and Georgia College is in 18th. The Hurricanes sit 23 strokes from the leaders and five strokes from Armstrong.

Tyler Barker, Ethan Chamineak, Nicholas Ward and Anders Olsson all posted a 75 in Round 2 on Monday. Barker leads GSW with a two-over par, two-round 146 to sit tied for 19th out of 93 golfers. Chamineak is one stroke behind Barker with a 147 and is tied for 25th.

Ward posted a tournament low 74 in Round 1 on Sunday to sit tied for 44th with a 149. Olsson is tied for 70th with a two-round 154 and Fraser Johnston posted a tournament low 78 in Round 2 to sit tied for 83rd with a 158.

The Hurricanes begin their final round of play Tuesday at 10 a.m.
