PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- The Georgia Southwestern golf team finished tied for seventh place of 16 teams to end day one of the NSU Shark Invitational held at the par-71, 6,853-yard PGA National-Champions Course. 

Vincent Norrman leads the way for the Hurricanes, finishing day one tied for 13th place going +6 par 150 (77-73). Ryan Cahill is right behind, going +11 par 155 (76-79) as he is tied for 32nd place as Cole Madison, who is tied for 42nd place, is 13-over par 157 with scores of 79 and 78. Tyler Barker, who is tied for 54th, placed scores of 84 and 76 for a +16 160 score while Elias Birkeland went +18 for a score of 162 (80-82). 

Wil Hernandez, who participated as an individual, sits 90th place to end day one with scores of 84 and 85 for the Hurricanes in the 95-player invitational. 

GSW is sitting tied for 7th place with scores of 312 and 306, going +42 par 618. No. 4 Saint Leo leads after day one with a score of 589 as Florida Tech (597) and Keiser University (603) are top 3. No. 5 Nova Southeastern has a total score of 610 while No. 7 West Florida trails right behind with a total score of 611 to close out day one. 

The Final round of the NSU Shark Invitational is scheduled for Tuesday morning as GSW will tee off at 8:30 a.m.
