INNISBROOK, Fla. -- Georgia Southwestern men's golf player Vincent Norrman is tied for second place to end day one of the Copperhead Championship played at Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort. 

Norrman sits with a card of 67 and 68, shooting -7 par 135 in the Par 71, 7,209 yard course. He is followed by Ryan Cahill, who sits tied for 22nd place, shooting a +2 par 144 (74-70). Tyler Barker is tied for 28th place with score of 76 and 69 for a -3 par 145. Cole Madison shot +6 par 148 (75-73) and is tied for 44th place while Elias Birkeland is tied for 61st place with scores of 78 and 74. 

No. 47 GSW closes day one tied for third place with a +4 par 572 (292-280). No. 1 Barry leads with a -14 par 554 (274-280) followed by the Queen's University of Charlotte, who shot -2 par 566 (285-281). No. 7 West Florida also shot a +4 par 572 (289-283) for a third place tie as No. 16 Limestone, who shot +7 par 575 (288-287), closes out the top five to cap day one. 

In individuals, Barry's Conor Richards sits in first place, as he carded a -8 par 134 (66-68). West Florida's Christian Bosso and Barry's Tyler Bakich are all tied for second place, as they shot -7 par 135 with scores of 65-70 and 69-66, respectively. Tim Bombosch from Wingate University closes out the top five, going par under 6 136 (66-70). 

The Hurricanes will tee off at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow for round three of the Copperhead Championship.
