AMERICUS, Ga. – The post-season accolades continue for the Georgia Southwestern men's soccer team.  Following last week's Second Team All-Conference award for senior Shane McKay, four members of the Blue & Gold have been named to the 2011 PBC Men's Soccer All-Academic team. Ethan Vick, Cade Jones, James Romaniw and Kevin Huet helped make it four consecutive years that a member of GSW Soccer has been named to the PBC All-Academic team.

For junior goalkeeper, Cade Jones, it was his first All-Conference award in a GSW uniform. The Athens native is majoring in Exercise Science and currently has a 3.33 grade point average. He started in twelve matches between the pipes for the Hurricanes and finished the season with 41 saves and a 1.95 goals against average.

It was also junior James Romaniw's first appearance on the All-Academic team. The junior from Lawrenceville made twelve appearances in the backline for GSW. He finished the 2011 campaign with 905 minutes played, which was more than his previous two seasons combined. Romaniw is also an Exercise Science major and has earned a 3.33 grade point average.

For senior Kevin Huet, his 2011 award is his third and final All-Academic accolade of his GSW career. The Conyers native played in 868 minutes this season with one assist. His 15 games played in 2011 gives him 42 games played for his career. He is also a three-time member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll. He will graduate with a degree in Exercise Science and has a GPA of 3.61.

The fourth member of the All-Academic quartet for GSW is senior Ethan Vick. His 2011 All-Academic award is the latest in a career filled with academic accolades. Vick, a native of Coolidge, is GSW's most academically decorated student-athlete. He is now a three-time PBC All-Academic award-winner, and he is on pace to be named to PBC Presidential Honor Roll for a fourth consecutive year. Vick is also a two-time GSW student-athlete of the year recipient. He appeared in 13 games this season and tallied 58 games played in his career. Vick will graduate with a degree in Accounting and has a GPA of 3.84.

This year's four award winners give the GSW program 21 PBC All-Academic award winners since the 2008 season. That number is the highest in the Peach Belt Conference in those four years.
