The Georgia Southwestern men's tennis team swapped 9-0 decisions in its two matches prior to this Saturday's contest at No. 14 Georgia College.
GSW won 9-0 at Morehouse College on Thursday (Mar. 15) before suffering a 9-0 setback against 13th-ranked Francis Marion on Sunday.
The Hurricanes have been involved in eight shutouts in their 13 matches this spring. Southwestern has been on the winning end of three of those contests.

GSW 9, Morehouse 0
The Hurricanes had little trouble disposing of Morehouse on Thursday afternoon (Mar. 15) in Atlanta.
GSW snapped a five-match losing streak and improved its record to 4-8 this spring.
Southwestern swept the doubles matches, led by an 8-0 victory at No. 3 from Joseph Bjerregaard and Matt Vansant over Noah Terry and Chris Hawthorne.
Singles play was just as strong for GSW. Ryan Bartz at No. 4 and Jake Koonce at No. 6 did not lose a game in their respective matches. Bjerregaard dropped only three games in his win at No. 2 (6-1, 6-2) and Vansant surrendered four at No. 5 (6-4, 6-0).

GSW 0, #13 Francis Marion
GSW was unable to match its one point in 2011 against Francis Marion as the 13th-ranked Patriots defeated the Hurricanes, 9-0, on Sunday morning at the Susan K. Smith Tennis Complex.
Southwestern played the Patriots tough in two of the three doubles matches to open the morning. Ryan Bartz and Stephen Moore dropped an 8-6 decision to Jack Bishop and Jonathan Hain at No. 2. Matt Vansant and Joseph Bjerregaard lost at No. 3, 8-5, to Tim Ruepke and Dirk Bair.
Bartz and Yvan Ruelle had the tightest matches on the singles side. Ruelle lost 6-1, 7-5 at No. 3 and Bartz fell 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4.
GSW drops to 4-9 overall and 0-5 in the PBC, while FMU improves to 7-2 and 4-2 in PBC play.
