AMERICUS - The Georgia Southwestern men's tennis team swept Brewton-Parker College, 9-0, Friday afternoon at the Susan K. Smith Tennis Complex to improve their record to 3-10 this spring.
Steven Blythe did not drop a game over singles and doubles play to lead the Hurricanes. Blythe joined Oliver Marshall at No. 1 doubles to win, 8-0, and proceeded to defeat Ethan Stone, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles.
Alex Canovas Ferrando and Beau Millwood led 7-0 at No. 2 doubles before the BPC team of Branden Lewis and Alante Carter retired.
Millwood went on to win, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 3 singles and Canovas Ferrando cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2.
GSW returns to the courts on March 19, to host Fort Valley State at 1 p.m.
