Griffin led the Lady Hurricanes in most offensive categories this spring, including: batting average (.368), runs (30), hits (56), triples (4), total bases (81), slugging percentage (.533), and on-base percentage (.451).

Leading up to the nightcap, GSW was 0-9 against the Wolves since 2007. The Lady 'Canes had been outscored 58-12 during that span. With the win, GSW improves to 7-11 this spring, while UWG falls to 9-3.

GSW head softball coach Eddie Ward today announced the signing of seven players for the 2010-11 academic year. Added to the roster are transfers Casey Burns, Jessica Chewning, Katie Maddox and Mason Moreland, along with freshmen Hayley Knight, Christie Shankle and Erin Vick.
