Pinette Named All-Peach Belt Conference

AMERICUS, Ga. -- Georgia Southwestern State University senior outfielder Hailey Pinette was recently named to the 2024 Peach Belt All-Conference Second Team. 

A native of Rincon, Ga., Pinette set career bests in batting average (.365), on-base percentage (.427), slugging percentage (.635), home runs (9), runs batted in (39) and runs scored (31). She closed out the season on a five-game hitting streak, where she had three multi-hit games. Pinette collected multiple hits in 14 contests this spring. She ranked second on the team in batting average and RBIs. In conference play, Pinette posted a .333 batting average with four home runs, a pair of triples and two doubles. She had two home runs and drove in five runs during the Lady Hurricanes four-game postseason run in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

Pinette finished the season ranked 15th in the Peach Belt in batting average and RBIs and tied for 18th in home runs in capturing her first All-PBC honor.
