Katelyn Wood is entering her first year as a collegiate coach for the 2024 softball season. Wood a GSW alum is a decorated third basemen and holds multiple GSW career, and single season records and awards. 

Wood is second in GSW history in batting average, hits, RBI's, total bases, and assists. She also holds single season records in hits, games played, and games started.

Wood made the Top-50 Players list and was named PBC player of the week during the 2023 season. 

Wood was named to the NFCA All-Region team in 2022.
