Lady 'Canes off to best start in 10 years

GSW made quick work of Pensacola Christian College, leading 45-11 at the half and coasting to the 86-39 victory on Tuesday evening in Pensacola.  The Lady Hurricanes are now 5-1 on the season, the program's best start since 1998-99.

Krystal Thomas led a balanced GSW scoring attack with 14 points.  Jamilah Sharp added 13 points, Nadirah Gardner chipped in 11 and Clarissa Corbett scored 10 points.

Whitley Wiltz and Arile Hadley pulled down 10 rebounds apiece.

Southwestern had a school record 30 steals. 

The Lady 'Canes are off until December 15th when they travel to Lander to open Peach Belt Conference play.
