Lady Canes Fall To Lander In Overtime Thriller 74-70

GREENWOOD S.C. – The Lady Hurricanes had their seven game win streak snapped in a Peach Belt Conference overtime thriller falling to Lander, 74-70, on Saturday afternoon in Finis Horne Arena.

Three Lady Hurricanes scored career highs Ndidiamaka Ndukwe scored a career-high 20 points she hit seven of her 14 shot attempts, she tied a career-high nine rebounds. Ndukwe has scored in double digits in three consecutive games. Destiny Garrett set a new career high scoring 16 points she connected on eight of her 15 shots she tied her career high snagging seven boards she also added four assists. Garrett has scored in double digits in two of the last three games. Jashanti Simmons earned her first career double-double she recorded 12 points and hauled in a career high 12 rebounds. This was the fifth consecutive game Simmons reached double-digit points.
