Assistant Coach Kelly Turman is entering her sixth season as a member of Coach Kelly Britsky’s staff.

Turman came to Americus after spending the 2008-09 season as an assistant coach at Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas.

While a member of the staff at Georgia Southwestern, Turman helped lead the 2009-10 Lady ‘Canes to the program’s first-ever Peach Belt conference tournament appearance. Also during her tenure with GSW, Turman has helped guide the program to an eleven win turnaround over two seasons.

Prior to her coaching career, Turman was a four-year letter winner at East Tennessee State (2004-2008). She was a member of Lady Bucs’ Atlantic Sun championship, NIT Tournament, and NCAA Tournament teams.

The Atlanta native graduated from ETSU with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance. She later earned a MBA from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2011.
