The Lady Hurricanes battled USC Aiken to a 1-1 tie on Saturday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference play at Hurricane Field.

After a scoreless first half, USCA grabbed a 1-0 lead at the 56:38 mark when Jessica Marshall took the ball down the left side before angling a shot past GSW goalkeeper Christy Drabek from 15 yards out.

The Lady 'Canes would answer twelve minutes later when sophomore Allie Cooper rifled a shot through the USCA defense in the 68th minute for her first collegiate goal.

Both teams would go scoreless over the final 42 minutes to end in the 1-1 tie.
