MILLEDGEVILLE - The Georgia Southwestern women's soccer team struggled in its opener at the Little Feet Invitational on Friday afternoon, falling to Barry University, 8-0.
 
Barry scored in the 14th minute, added two more goals in the first half and led 3-0 at the break.
 
BU went on to post five goals in the second stanza while rolling to the victory.
 
The Buccaneers held GSW to one shot on goal and did not surrender a corner kick.
 
Southwestern meets Brewton-Parker on Saturday at 5 p.m. in its final match of the invitational.
