The No. 3-ranked Columbus
State women's soccer team scored a pair of second-half goals
to pull away from Georgia Southwestern for a 3-0 victory
Wednesday evening in Columbus.
CSU improves to 9-0-1 overall and 4-0 in the Peach Belt, while GSW drops to 2-8 and 0-4 in the PBC .
Stephanie Lowery converted a penalty kick in the 23rd minute to give Columbus State the lead.
GSW managed to keep the defecit at one against the southeast region's top-ranked squad until the 68th minute when Kansas Bayley headed Kelsey Bass' cross past GSW keeper Courtney Allison.
