AMERICUS, Ga. — The Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes tied University of South Carolina Aiken Pacers 1-1 on Senior Night at Hurricane Field. The game was a defensive battle and the two sides were both scoreless until the 70th minute when Natalie Martinez gave the Hurricanes a 1-0 lead.

The Pacers quickly responded with a goal of their own in the 72nd minute to tie the game. Both teams continued their defensive showcase for the two overtime periods to end the game at a tie.

The Lady Canes will head to Albany State Oct. 20th.
