ALBANY, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University women's tennis team traveled to Albany, Ga to take on Albany State University on Tuesday afternoon at the Albany State Tennis Complex. ASU defeated the Hurricanes, 5-2.

The Hurricanes best singles performance went to Madeline Barnes as she dominated her opponent winning the set 6-0.

The best doubles performance by the hurricanes went to Geanna Richard and Sofya Kanarskaya who won their set, 6-0.

The Hurricanes will travel to Milledgeville, Ga., on Thursday to face Georgia College and State at 4:00 p.m. from the Centennial Center.
